Lisa Mader
Counselling Therapist, Nova Scotia Community College Students; Project Lead, Emergency Housing Pilot Project, NSCC students



Lisa Mader is Counselling Therapist, working full-time with Nova Scotia Community College Students and as well with clients in her private practice. She has previously worked with homeless and at-risk youth and has been the coordinator of a Supervised Apartment Program for youth in Halifax, Nova Scotia. She is currently the Project Lead for an Emergency Housing Pilot Project for NSCC students. She has 20 years of experience working with homeless and at-risk populations, students, couples, and families. She holds a MEd (Counselling) from Acadia University, a BA from Simon Fraser University, and is a Registered Counselling Therapist and a Counselling Supervisor.
