Reva White is a born and raised Torontonian with a passion for urban planning and affordable housing design solutions. She is currently in the first year of the Masters of Environmental Studies with a specialization in Urban Planning program at York University. She obtained her undergraduate degree from Ryerson University in Urban and Regional Planning in 2014. After graduation, she worked at Toronto Community Housing on North America’s largest public housing revitalization, Regent Park, where her passion for urban issues and affordable housing deepened. She has experience in student housing affordability and has done research on the increasing privatization of student housing residences and the impacts that this has on affordability for students. Currently, her research focus lies in bringing affordable housing design solutions to Canada and has conducted research on the increasing privatization of student residences in Toronto. 

White brings experience in project coordination, land-use planning, data collection, and analysis of Toronto's affordable housing market to StudentDwellTO.
